What is CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It’s origins come from townships that would bring in a farmer to tend to the land. Families in town would all pitch in to invest in the crops that were planned to be planted and tended to. At the end of the growing season, the crops were split amongst the families. Nowadays, the model looks a bit different, but has the same mindset and goal.
Treat yourself & Partner with us
Your local farmers rely on CSA subscriptions to thrive, and as a thank you to you for your support, provide you with weekly or bi-weekly boxes just bursting with fresh fruits and produce, straight from the farm.
In addition to delicious staple items, subscribers enjoy the exclusive tastes of what’s in season but in limited quantity. Like our peach trees. They aren’t mature enough to fill bins at the stand yet, but when the peaches are ripe, those are in the box. When the grapes set on, that goes to you!
CSA Subscriptions allow you to get a great variety of tastes while supporting your local farmer and economy.
Pick up days are on Thursday-Saturday at our Farm Stand in Vista. Orders must be received by the Sunday evening before expected pickup, so that we have enough time to pick and prepare your goodies. If you have a vacation or sick day, not a problem, just be sure to contact us so we can make arrangements!
